The Wedding Day | Julia started her morning preparing with her bridesmaids in a lovely villa at Southern Hills Plantation Club. They say it’s good luck for “a little rain” on your wedding day, we’ll lets just say, Julia & Ben will have lots of luck for many years to come! As they awaited the passing of the clouds and sprinkles of love from the sky, Julia and Ben shared an emotional “First Look” in their suite overlooking the subtle rolling hills and lush green landscape. Here they were able to take the time to share intimate love letters with each other, while they sat hand in hand. Later when the clouds parted, and the sun began to show, Julia and her bridesmaids joined Ben, his groomsmen, and their guests for their ceremony on the scenic veranda of the grande club house. Ben and the wedding party took their places at the altar, and Julia was escorted down the aisle by her father. She looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous vintage embroidered wedding gown with lace overlays. It was there in front of their closest family and friends … the couple shared their vows, exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife. Of course, the best was yet to come, as we headed down to the great lawn for sunset…What an amazing end to a beautiful day with a fabulous couple!

The Venue | What made them fall in love with the location?…Ben has played golf at Southern Hills a few times, and loved the way the clubhouse looked. He knew the type of setting Julia wanted (classic & elegant), and suggested they try it out. Julia immediately fell in love with the venue as soon as she saw the gorgeous clubhouse on the hill.

The Ambiance | The wedding colors were coral and grey. Julia’s bouquet consisted of white hydrangea, accented with soft, coral roses, lush greenery of salal and italian ruscus. The bridesmaids carried creamy ivory roses, white hypericum with touches of greenery.
